Q1What kind of products does your company manufacture?

We manufacture wooden picture frame mouldings purely in length form, ranging from 2.13-3.35 meters / 7-11 feet. We do not cut and assemble them into frames.

Q2 What kind of lumber species do you use?

Being a FSC certified company, Finesse is buying both FSC & Non-FSC certified wood.
Non-FSC certified timber such as Jelutong and other suitable tropical & temperate lumber species which are purely sourced from domestic vendors/millers, who are strictly required to comply with sustainable forest management com patible with International Tropical Timber Organization (ITTO) standard. With such practice, it will help to ensure that both our Malaysian forest cover shall be maintained and the continued long term availability of all lumber species. Q3What do you specialize in?

We specialize in stained wood, plain & decorative hot stamped, lacquered (matt & gloss), washed & rustic finish, and to a lesser degree, gold/silver leafing.

Q4What are your payment terms?

Irrevocable Letter of Credit at sight or T/T of 40% in advance and balance prior to ship date.

Q5How are the mouldings being delivered?

We shall take care and arrange shipment from our port to yours, and even right up to your warehouse if necessary. Shipment can be arranged in either full container load or loose container load (LCL) for smaller orders which shall be packed and palletized to ensure adequate protection for those boxes of mouldings as per enclosed pictures.

Q6Is it possible to have all mouldings in 10ft length?

It would help to take into consideration that round lumber logs come in various lengths. Therefore our lumber vendors ship sawn lumber to us in different sizes. For bigger mouldings (2 inches to 3½ inches wide), most of the sticks would range from 8-10ft long with a smaller percentage of shorter sticks. Smaller mouldings (less than 2 inches wide) would have a larger percentage of shorter lengths.
We do utilize finger-joined moulding for items with gesso-coatings, and these come in 10ft lengths most of the time. For stain finish items, full-length mouldings that come in random lengths will have to be used. Therefore, taking all of the above into consideration, it would not be possible to keep all mouldings at a single uniformed length.

Q7Does your company provide catalogue with prices?

Considering that our company currently carries over 4,000 different moulding designs that are constantly increasing in number, it has proved to be a very tedious task for us to keep a catalogue that is up to date and valid. However, if you could indicate what kind of mouldings on our “Products Menu” that you are interested in, we would be able to make good recommendations, and send free moulding sample.

Q8What is your minimum order quantity?

3,000 feet per profile and at least 1,000 feet per color.

Q9What is your current production lead-time?

45-60 days upon our receipt of your L/C at sight or 40% in advance. However, we do also entertain occasional rush orders to assist our buyers in capturing any unexpected urgent orders by having those specific mouldings ready for shipment in 21-30 days.
